I have worked with the Europlacer & Speedprint groups since March 2016 where I entered as a stores assistant. Since then the role has certainly changed, as has its challenges but this is a really great place to work.

This is due to the people here and the concept of producing a product from start to finish under the one roof & focussing on quality.

A normal day for me consists of booking in and putting away many of our thousands of stock items in their respective warehouse locations, the safe and secure packaging then shipping of our machines around the world, and stock management of the production floor with my two colleagues in Stores, Jason Munro & Chad Bate. I really enjoy working with these two as with a large and hectic schedule, the three of us must and indeed do communicate well. We all bounce our energy off one another and there’s plenty of jokes to keep us all in high spirits through the day.

Outside of work I enjoy being a coach for my sons Under 13’s football team in nearby Lytchett Matravers and campaigning for the local Upton area. Testament to the company’s commitment to helping it’s staff achieve their personal goals, within the last few weeks or so of writing, Speedprint have wonderfully supported getting a case for an AED (defibrillator) for the local junior school within Upton. Something I have vigorously campaigned for since December 2018.

The premise of continuous improvement has and still continues to motivate me, as does the thought process of being proactive, not reactive, especially in such a fast paced area of the business such as Goods In/Dispatch.
